Mil Stewart's Carrot Cake
Kris' first taste of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting happened more than sixty years ago sitting on the steps of Mil and Brock Stewart's cottage on east Grand Lake. Her thought as a five-year-old was how crazy to put a carrot in a cake. One bite of Milly's confection later, Kris was hooked. Still possibly the best carrot cake recipe ever!
Nut-free. Carrots, sugar, unbleached flour, olive oil, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, cream cheese, butter, vanilla extract, confectioner's sugar.
